Welcome to the MelbNtrak model railroad club homepages.

MelbNtrak was founded in September 1988 by six fellows who wanted to further their enjoyment in N Scale model trains. Over the years many N Trak modules were constructed by members to the American N Trak standards.

The club and its members have exhibited the club and members modules at most of the major Melbourne exhibitions and also visited many Victorian country towns to participate in regional train shows. Along the way the club has received many awards for it layouts and along the way added to its membership list.

In mid 2009 due to decisions made entirely outside of the clubs control the council in charge of the area in which we had our most recent club rooms told us to vacate the premises. Without any new club rooms being available the club has had to take the tough step to dispose of all of its assets. It no longer has any modules with which to participate in any future exhibitions.

However the club is continuing to operate as a club and this year we are celebrating our 21st year. Members now meet at various members homes and other locations on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday night each month. Check the meeting schedule page for dates and locations of the future meetings.

13th National N Scale Convention 2013

The National N Scale Convention is jointly sponsored by Melbntrak and The Victorian N Scale Collective and will be held at Rydges Bell City in Preston, Melbourne on 12 - 14 April 2013.  For full details, including registration and hotel bookings, please visit the convention web site.
